Market Sense Rules

Market reads need receipts.

The Market Sheet starts with price, basis, source, last updated, and the plain Sell, Store, or Wait read before any background detail.

Open Market Sheet checks current sources. Use paperwork starts from a contract, buyer bid, invoice, or saved note.

What has to be visible

PriceCash bid, futures, or livestock price shown before the read.
BasisNamed when it changes the grain decision.
ProofOriginal source report, table, or saved farm record linked.
Last updatedFreshness shown before the read is treated as firm.

endrow is an informational tool, not a registered Commodity Trading Advisor. Verdicts are status reports against your own written plan; final trade decisions stay with you and your broker / elevator.

Show the receipt

A market read should name the source, date, and evidence before it asks for attention.

Say what changed

Endrow should explain the move in plain farm language before it says why it might matter.

Keep advice in bounds

Thin or stale data stays labeled. Market reads are informational, not trading, tax, legal, or financial advice.

Tie it back to the farm

A useful read connects to stored grain, livestock, contracts, basis, or records already in the farm book.

Check the source before changing a sale.

When proof is missing, Endrow should say so. Limits and disclosures stay available without crowding the first read.
